He has published papers and abstracts in corneal
transplantation for keratoconus and Fuchs’
dystrophy. As a fellow at the University of
Iowa, he participated in their development of
techniques in endothelial keratoplasty (DLEK/DSEK).
Descriptions and videos of his work can be seen
on www.eyerounds.org, an educational website
developed for patients and students. He is
currently involved with several eye banks and
hospitals in India to develop endothelial
transplant programs.
His hobbies include tennis, home improvement
projects, running and cooking.
He has lived all across the US - including
Arizona, Louisiana, Texas, Washington, and Iowa
- and is happy to have settled in Pennsylvania
with his lovely wife, Reena.
